French born artist David Jayet-Laraffe moved to Manchester in 1998, with a passion for flowers and a natural eye for design, and started learning floristry.
After working for an international florist, he knew exactly where he wanted to go and decided to open a floral artistry studio mixing his love for flowers, fashion and art. Frog was born.
Since 2007, Frog has been making a real statement, creating and sculpting floral arrangements for an array of clients: weddings, events, fashion shoots, installations, collaborations…
From a simple statement to exuberant exhibitions, Frog offers a tailor-made service with a reputation for personal attention and care.
Suzie’s flower journey has taken her far and wide. At the ripe old age of 27 she has over 10 years experience already under her belt.
After studying floristry full time, Suzie worked for four years in a bustling Buxton florist and then escaped to the Canadian Rockies to work as a florist there. After a stint in London working for acclaimed florist ‘Wild at Heart’ in both Liberty London and their head shop, She took off to Australia.
Realising her love for weddings and working on big installations she worked for a top Melbourne florist on wedding and event work. She then helped to run a newly opened florist in Brisbane and worked her socks off on a flower farm near Sydney.
With Manchester calling she returned home, and as the stars aligned, she found Frog and within it a kindred spirit in David. Suzie fell in love with the Frog vibe and sharing the same vision and with huge amounts of passion, the two embarked on a journey to take on the industry by floral storm.
As a natural teacher, Suzie developed the Flower school that now runs as a strand of Frog. It is safe to say that Suzie has lay down her hat and her backpack for good at Frog headquarters… but the adventure continues here at Frog.
